Berlin Street Art Bike Tour (EN / DE)

Berlin – as a divided city and symbol of the Cold War – has inspired many street art artists to visualize the historical fate of the city. As a result, many political images are appearing on Berlin’s variety of empty walls that are partly a relict from the damage which the city suffered during the Second World War. This Berlin street art bike tour takes you on a two-hour roundtrip to 14 landmarks of political urban art in the centre of Berlin. Starting at East Side Gallery, it takes you across Oberbaumbrücke through Kreuzberg to Mehringplatz, up North and via Hackescher Markt back to Kottbusser Tor. You will find pictures of and background information on each piece of artwork as well as a google maps links guiding you to the next stop. You can start at any stop and do the full circle.
