Victor Ash‘s “Tree Children” can be seen on a house wall next to a petrol station near the S and U-Bahn station Wedding. They were created as part of the Wedding Walls Project 2011, aiming to beautify walls in this district of Berlin. Victor Ash, also known as Ash, is originally from Paris and lives in Copenhagen. He works mainly on canvas, lithography and sometimes with installations. Since the late 1980s, he has regularly exhibited his works in various museums and galleries around the world. In Berlin, Ash has designed numerous walls. For example Astronaut/ Kosmonaut in Kreuzberg, The Big Jump in Prenzlauer Berg or the human pyramid commissioned by Ver.di.

An einer Hauswand neben einer Tankstelle in der Nähe des S und U-Bahnhofs Wedding erblickt man Victor Ash’s „Tree Children“. Sie sind im Rahmen des Wedding Walls Projekts 2011 entstanden, dass mehrere Wände in dem traditionellen Berliner Arbeiterbezirk durch Murals verschönert hat. Victor Ash, auch bekannt als Ash, stammt ursprünglich aus Paris und lebt in Kopenhagen. Er arbeitet hauptsächlich auf Leinwand, Lithografie und manchmal auch mit Installationen. Seit Ende der 1980er Jahre hat er seine Werke regelmäßig in verschiedenen Museen und Galerien auf der ganzen Welt ausgestellt. In Berlin hat Ash zahlreiche Wände gestaltet. So etwa Astronaut/ Kosmonaut in Kreuzberg, The Big Jump im Prenzlauer Berg oder die von Ver.di in Auftrag gegebene menschliche Pyramide.
